Privacy Policy

This Privacy Policy explains how Oklahoma Safety Coalition Association (“OSC,” “we,” “us,” or “our”) collects, uses, shares, protects, and retains information when you use the OSC app and related services.

1. Information we collect

We may collect your name, email address, mobile number, city and state, church or organization, training interests, notification choices, account type, and account status. We also maintain training and certification records, uploaded certificate PDFs, course registrations, attendance, payment status and transaction references, discussion posts and replies, support requests, and account-deletion requests.

Supabase processes account credentials and authentication data for the app. We may also receive routine technical information such as device, browser, IP address, timestamps, and security or error logs.

2. How we use information

We use information to create and secure accounts; verify member access; administer church membership; deliver training, records, resources, discussions, and notifications; process registrations; provide support; maintain safety and integrity; comply with law; and improve OSC services.

3. Payments

When paid registration becomes available, payment details will be collected and processed by a third-party payment processor such as Stripe. OSC does not intend to store complete credit-card numbers or card security codes in the app. We may retain payment status, amount, date, refund information, and a processor transaction reference.

4. When information is shared

We share information only as reasonably needed with service providers that operate the app, including Supabase for authentication, databases, and file storage; hosting and app-distribution providers; payment processors; and linked services such as YouTube. OSC owners and authorized administrators may access information according to their duties. A Church Admin may access training-record functions only for approved users associated with that Church Admin’s church.

We may also disclose information when required by law, to protect rights or safety, to investigate misuse, or as part of an organizational transition.

5. Retention

We retain account and operational information while needed to provide the service. Training records may remain associated with a user for the life of the account, including periods when church access is suspended, so records can return if membership is renewed. Certain registration, payment, safety, audit, and legal records may be kept longer where reasonably necessary. Deletion requests are ordinarily reviewed within 30 days; some information may remain in backups or be retained when law, fraud prevention, accounting, dispute resolution, or safety obligations require it.

6. Security

We use reasonable administrative, technical, and organizational safeguards, including authenticated access and database access controls. No electronic system can be guaranteed completely secure. Do not send payment-card details, passwords, or highly sensitive operational information through discussions or ordinary email.

7. Your choices and requests

You may request access, correction, or deletion of your information by contacting us or using the public account-deletion request page. You may also manage available notification settings in the app. We may need to verify your identity before completing a request.

When an account is deleted, OSC removes the login, profile, certificates, discussions, notifications, preferences, and other personal account data. If the person attended an OSC class, the class roster entry is retained for both free and paid courses so OSC can maintain an accurate historical attendance record. The retained roster may include the attendee name and email, class, attendance status and date, sponsoring church or pricing tier, and payment status or transaction reference when applicable.

8. Adults only

The OSC app is intended only for people age 18 or older. We do not knowingly allow people under 18 to create or use an account. If we learn that information from a person under 18 was collected through the app, we will take reasonable steps to remove it.

9. Third-party services

The app may link to external websites or services. Their privacy practices are governed by their own policies, not this Privacy Policy.

10. Changes to this policy

We may update this policy as the app or legal requirements change. We will post the new version and effective date and, when appropriate, require users to acknowledge the update.
